The Bellbrae Pottery Bed & Breakfast Local Attractions The Bellbrae Pottery is located along the stunning Surf Coast of Victoria. There are many natural attractions in the local area. The table below details approximate distances and driving times to some of them.
Please note that these times may vary.
Water activities There are a range of various different beaches in the area. There are several surfing beaches for those who feel like a bit of excitement, while others may prefer a more secluded beach with calmer waters for wading, paddling or sunbathing. Jennifer, your host at The Bellbrae Pottery B&B, will be able to show you these sites on local maps and provide directions, if required. In addition, for those who do not enjoy the feeling of sand between their toes, there are at least two swimming pools nearby, which can be enjoyed by all. Never surfed before? Want to learn? There are several organizations that cater for people who would like to, or perhaps those that would even wish to participate in more adventurous water activities! For safe swimming, there are lifeguards on duty every day at selected beaches along the coast from December 26th, 2006 until January 26th, 2007, and on weekends from November through until Easter. Always swim safely!
Fishing While you will need to check with Fish Victoria for details on fishing locations and any licenses required, there are always places where you can go fishing. Local shops can provide you with fishing consumables such as bait - just bring your gear!
